Due to CDC recommendations we have made the difficult decision to temporarily cut back on non-emergent and non-urgent vision care. We will still be available for more urgent care both during and after normal office hours.
If you appointment was rescheduled for a later date or you can't get in quickly enough please call and we try to assist you the best that we can. We are still delivering glasses and contact lenses "curbside" if you call and let us know. Contact lenses ordered from this date on will be shipped at no additional cost. As with all other small business at this time we greatly appreciate any support we receive from our patients.
Urgent care not only includes sudden onset eye pain, light sensitivity, foreign bodies, vision loss or flashes and floaters but also if you have a high prescription and can't function without glasses and contacts and they break etc. Any questions please let us know.
If you are coming to the office, we request that only the patient or a child and one parent/guardian come into the office. Feel free for the rest to wait in the car. Upon arriving please immediately use the hand sanitizer at the front and try not to touch any surfaces or your phone for the remainder of the visit. If you have a mask please bring that as well but that is not a requirement. We will try to assure that higher risk patients are not seen at the same time as other lower risk patients. If you have recently traveled out of Kosciusco county, have any fever, stomach issues, cough, throat irritation or have family with illness within 10 days of any appointment please call to re-schedule.
We realize that some may feel the measures are extreme but we want to make sure we are following the CDC guidelines for the safety of our patients and staff. We continue to sterilize and clean all surfaces in the office constantly throughout the day.
Please continue social distancing and frequent hand washing. We stand together with our local community during these difficult times and pray for a quick resolution and "return to normal." As I type this I am highly encouraged by some recent research showing some promising treatments for the virus. Please stay safe and call if any questions. Thank you again for all you past, current, and future support and please support our other local small businesses the best you can!
Drs. Caughell, Temple, Todd and our staff of Warsaw Family Eyecare.
